Cameron 00:00
Hey Josh. Ua, good to meet you. I'm trying to put on my headphones right now give me one second. Here we go.
Joshua 00:06
Sounds good. Take your time.
Cameron 00:09
There we go, we're good. Hey, how you doing man? Good to meet you.
Joshua 00:09
Can you hear me? Good to meet you too? Where are you based at it right now?
Cameron 00:18
So I'm in Southern California actually so I'm in Laguna Beach. Right now I'm in Lake Tahoe though so yeah I'm up here with up here with my family for the week just hanging out but I'm based out of the Laguna Beach. How about you?
Joshua 00:19
Okay. Cool. Okay. Cool. I'm based in LA in Santa Monica and I'm currently back east with my family. We're out here at a lake doing all the fun lake vibes.
Cameron 00:43
That's exactly I'm looking at the lake right now it's exactly what I'm doing.
Joshua 00:44
Beautiful. Same, same. It doesn't suck.
Cameron 00:49
Amazing nice man.
Joshua 00:50
Yeah, it's super great to connect. Mark had obviously great things to say about you. You guys were teammates together on outrigger team. Is that what you guys were doing?
Cameron 01:00
Yeah it was like three years ago Mark was on my outrigger canoe team that's how I met him and yeah we had a lot of fun together it was part of the Marina del Reynier team so that's how I know mark and I've always stayed in contact with them because he's always doing cool stuff he's always posting stuff you know and then I saw him do this 90 day academy and I was like hey sign me up this is perfect and it's like perfect timing for what like I'm doing right now.
Joshua 01:03
Cool. Yep. I love it. Well, I'm really excited to learn a little bit more, hear what you're doing. Before that, I also gathered that you're an endurance athlete.
Cameron 01:35
I do a lot of endurance ultra running just finished tahoe 200 in June so 200 miles around lake taho and do a lot of running yeah.
Joshua 01:38
Cool. Wow. Tahoe 200. That's nuts. That's crazy. I've done. Iron man is the extent of my endurance career and probably will pause there for now at least. Although doing a 50 mile or something, my cousin and I have been circling around for a bit now after we did our Iron Man together. He's like my he's my crazy buddy in these endeavors. And so I think the 50 miler might be calling us. But it's just wild. Like the deeper I go into it, the deeper appreciation I have for the 100 miles, for the 200 mile, that's a different level, man.
Cameron 02:28
Man which Ironman did you I've done I've done a bunch of Iron man so which one did you do.
Joshua 02:31
Cool. We did Arizona, the tempe, which was great. And then I've done probably, I don't know, 10 or 12 half Ironmans, which is wild to be like, oh yeah, half Ironman, you get off the couch and do. That's a joke at this point.
Cameron 02:35
Oh very cool. Amazing.
Joshua 02:46
Which is nuts.
Cameron 02:47
Yeah yeah. Yeah it's all relative right like it's it's like yeah you think like hey I can't do a half and then you get to the full and the full is just so much more training than they have and then if you do a hundred or 200 they're like oh an Ironman that's only 12 hours that's you're done.
Joshua 02:50
Totally. Right. Because you're that because you're measuring it in time like that, right? Of like, oh yeah, 12 hours, you're done. So what was the 200? What was your, how long did the 200 take you?
Cameron 03:13
74 hours 54 minutes so I broke my goal was under 75 hours so I did it yeah so that's we yeah six minutes to spare yeah yeah.
Joshua 03:19
Wow 6 minutes? Bear? That's nuts. All right, I gotta look this up. I gotta look this up later. That's so badass. I love it. I love it. Cool.
Cameron 03:30
Was that was a good time.
Joshua 03:30
Well. That's so good. Wanna, we could probably talk for ages just about that because I have so many other questions. But tell me a little bit more about yourself and what you're working on Summit spatial, I think is what I gathered. Tell me a little bit more just about you, where you're at and some of the stuff that Mark talks about that resonates with you perhaps. And then I'll just kind of ask you some questions. My goal with this call really is to learn a little bit more about you and your business, see if you might be a fit for what we're putting together. And if I think that you'd be a fit, Mark can help you, then I'll kind of run through the full details of what that looks like. And we can take the combo from there.
Cameron 03:34
For sure. Yeah yeah for sure so my background's in GIS I don't know geographic information science kind of mapping and data science so I've been doing that for over 15 years I ran a GI's department for local government Culver city actually so is that Culver city for eight years and after Culver City I went to Bechtel they're the largest engineering procurement construction company in the US and so I ran their geospatial for about five and worked on a lot of really big projects a lot of big infrastructure projects so I led all their infrastructure projects to big airports big fridges big nuclear mineral mining oil and gas things of that nature so I ran all the geospatial for them and I realized hey this is too corporate for me I need to be on my own do my own thing so I started some spatial and that is really revolving around leveraging the IEEE spatial standard framework so I spatial standard framework it got ratified at the end of last year and it's really it allows it is a framework for AI governance spatial AI so AI to AI to talk to each other and so my platform some spatial is for you know you know when you have these big mega projects you know these $20 billion projects or even in Saudi Arabia it could be $20 trillion projects logistics and engineering it's a huge logistical nightmare right so and it's all robotics AI GIS mapping things like that and so what I partnered with Dr. Edward chow he formerly ran NASA's JPL program for 40 years he just he just retired and we've been working together over the last year to build out a platform called interbilla and I'll send you the website it's called interbillet OS it's a runtime it essentially allows for.
Joshua 04:15
Cool. Yeah, please.
Cameron 06:09
Trust and governance and provenance between different engineering systems and it allows AI and AI to talk to each other and again it'll it's a framework run time that can be deployed for any organization but it allows AI it allows you to leverage large language models but within your organization so you know the big the big thing right now is everybody wants to use AI but nobody knows how to leverage it right and they don't want to give their they don't want to give their trade secrets away so they can't let everybody in their organization if you have a really big organization you can't just put it in Gemini or clot or whatever and give away everything right so trust and governance becomes extremely valuable and so the framework we've built where Dr. Edward Chow built and then I've I'm really helping really get it out in the market and really you know I'm focused I've been doing large construction for the last five years so I'm focused on large construction but it's really for DOD.
Joshua 06:14
Okay.
Cameron 07:18
Big utilities we met with LEDWP two weeks ago so they want to operate they want to operationalize their all of their utilities and so they have a $20 million that $20 million they need to spend and they want to they already said they want to run a pilot with us so by the end of the year yeah by the end of the year we're running a pilot with them they want to move fast so we just met with them like three weeks ago they're ready to go and so we we demoed the whole platform they're super super excited about it and they want to move really fast for government organization which is really exciting so they have a lot of money and we're going to deploy a pilot with them very soon and so that's one client we're also talking with with the DOD I know everybody within the engineering space so the keywords the Bechtels all the big all the big guys I work with a venture capital company called brick and mortar brick and mortar BC they are started by the brother of Darren Bechtel the Bechtel so they focus on innovation in the construction industry and so I work a lot with them on different projects mainly you know deploying innovation in the construction industry my background is really focused on GIS and geospatial though and so my focus is on leveraging AI in spatial AI right and so we built out this runtime that allows you to deploy and I'm happy to show you a demo of it me and Dr. Chao can jump on and show you guys a demo we have a lot lot of projects going right now and our focus right now is really choosing three main pilots to get money coming in we're not taking any funding from anybody it's really LEDWP is a really good pilot but finding two other pilots that actually bring in money so it's me and Chow right now we're a small team we have a couple other people but I mean we're really we already built out the platform it's already built Dr. Sha built the whole thing with his experience he's been he's been doing AI for 40 years he's like the main guy in the US he is the man so he's he started this whole thing so he's built all the papers you can look him up on YouTube he's got a million views on YouTube he's he's the dude so.
Joshua 07:35
Amazing. That's great. Okay. Got it. Chair. Cool. Amazing. How did you connect with him just out of curiosity?
Cameron 09:40
Through through through the brick and mortar BC yeah so so through those guys I linked up with them and he's actually really close to me and La Brea so he's 25 minutes away from me so we meet up we meet up with coffee all the time we're both in Southern California and we just have a really good partnership right now so we've met been meeting with a lot of really big companies like orange business and zones all Fortune 500 and a lot of really big companies to help them operationalize all of their you know infrastructure so this takes into account cyber security you know IT stuff and like all of the stuff in order to make what we call operational capability blueprints so essentially you build blueprints for any organization and you can deploy these blueprints based on you know what we've built out and it takes all of the intent and context for all of your policies within your organization you know all of the all of the stuff you don't want to give away right you know all of your all of your knowledge that you know your company has takes all that into account and it allows you to streamline and operationalize everything using the latest in AI but it keeps it behind your firewall so you're not giving away anything.
Joshua 09:43
Got it. They're bringing back to him. Yeah. Gotcha. Gotcha. Very cool. Makes sense.
Cameron 11:04
So if I'm just to give you an example and I'll show you like we can jump on a jump on a call and I'll share you a demo of this but for the big wildland fire crisis in LA that caused $78 billion in the palisades of damage.
Joshua 11:07
Yeah. Yeah. Including marks. Mark's home burned down.
Cameron 11:22
I didn't know Mark's home burned down wow.
Joshua 11:23
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Losses on there. Yep.
Cameron 11:25
I thought I thought he was in Venice but he'll really like this system.
Joshua 11:28
For sure. For sure.
Cameron 11:31
But yeah so to give you an example this system you know when that happened the issue was you had LA County, LA city all the fire departments LAPD you know everybody's trying to like talk to each other so they had a common operating picture like they had dashboards and common operating picture but they didn't have a common operating governance framework and so a governance framework allows all of their systems to talk to each other in a trusted way so if I'm if I'm LAPD and want to give access to my cameras or anything to the fire department I can using this governance framework so that's the difference.
Joshua 12:00
I see.
Cameron 12:11
And so it allows you to have different organizations talk to each other leveraging the latest in AI and yeah and so it's just. Yeah.
Joshua 12:21
Why it would be huge for government agencies. Too across the board.
Cameron 12:28
But not not only government we're like we have a lot of government clients we're talking to DOD department of war like all these people right the DAWG team the department of autonomy like WT I forget what it's called I can send it to you but we're also focused on you know large all the fortune 500s too so that's who we've been meeting with and that's where we're focused in on and.
Joshua 12:44
Yeah. Cool. I love it. I love it. Yeah. So tell me a little bit more about that. So, so are you operating as like CEO? Are you operating as founder, co-founder? Like what's your, what's your role within all of this?
Cameron 13:16
Current. Ly.
Joshua 13:19
Yep.
Cameron 13:49
Arch. Ie. Comes. To.
Joshua 13:56
Cool. Yep.
Cameron 14:03
Backup. Is a special. Ist.
Joshua 14:39
Cool. Makes sense. All right. And that makes sense too as to why kind of now in this next several months is like prime timing for this to get yourself up to that speed and that capability for that next level CEOC essentially. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very cool. Amazing. And you've been, you know, obviously you know, Mark personally, but you've been kind of following along some of his content or stuff that he's, you know, he's been posting and talking about recently you mentioned as well. Cool. Nice. Yeah. It's pretty much the same stuff from the from the master class overview of master class. Probably got. Cool. Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Love it totally. So you get it. I mean appreciation of the choir here. This is, that's his whole approach. And what's wild is, you know, I've been working with him and alongside him for a year and a half now and watching him work with different founders and, and help deliver some of this transformation. And it's like, it's just wild how much it works. Like it is like, and not only how much it works, but how, how practical and systematic it actually can be to deliver that and to allow founders and people to. To have those changes take hold. So I'm, I'm mind blown by it and I think it's, it's just incredible, which is why I love working with him and to help bring this to many people as possible because it's just, it just works. It just is such the right way. And it takes people like yourself to have that understanding of like, yeah, this is the path. And like, I know that this is not a, like this is the way to get there. So. I met Mark a year and a half ago, I connected with him. We'd kind of been in similar circles. I actually talked to his business partner, Dan at ground forged capital. They almost invested in us, but I had never interfaced with Mark, but I'd connected with Mark through my sister because he invested in my sister's company. He had done some business with my dad way back when. So they're both in the food and beverage space. And so I had connected with him to about 18 months ago when he was just getting ready to launch his most recent book and entrepreneurs guide to freedom. He was like finishing that up and he was. Like kind of getting to the stage of this next arc of his career where he's like looking at, I want to be doing this more with founders and with CEOs and helping them more on the kind of coaching, advising personal development side of things. And I was, I ran an ice bath company actually for a couple years and kind of like rocket ship that up and then that we shut that down. Before that I was deep into the education technology space using a lot of business coaching and building out kind of curriculum for transformation. And so after my last business ended, we kind of intersected a perfect time when he was just like, I'm trying to do what he's doing now. Can you help me essentially? And so we've been working together for over a year and I've been really helping him take all of his amazing principles and stories and teachings and systemize them in a way that can help deliver results and kind of help him get his own personal brand, his story, his teaching for philosophy out there. And it's been amazing to see and we've worked with a bunch of people in that time and just keep refining and refining, which is leading us towards launching in a month here this 90 day incubator with a handful of people that were real hand selecting for this experience. Yeah. Yeah, thanks man. So listen, I'm super clear. You'd be a fantastic fit for this and would get everything that you're looking for and I know would be amazing to work with, Mark in that. So like I'll just straight up with you there. I think you'd be awesome. There also is, you know, I would say we're going to end up probably around, I would say eight people in this cohort, 10 max. We've decided so we want to keep it really, really intimate. And I'll run you through the whole details of it. There are, it's not all just consumer too. So there's another at least one, I think potentially another that is not just that are that are CEOs or founders of businesses that are not just consumers. So I just want to tell you that right off the bat. So it's not just like all food and beverage people, even though that's where majority is because of just Mark who Mark is. I'm going to share my screen real quickly here and I can just show you give you kind of a bit of an overview here. Can you see this screen? Okay, cool. I'm not going to, I'll send this to you as well so you can have this, but I'm just going to kind of highlight a few different things to kind of take you through of what this looks like. So really like to call this a learning lab. So it's not really a course. It's not a mastermind. It's not just a cohort. It's it's kind of this combination. And what we do here is everything is geared towards complete transformation. We've run one of these before and it's been 10 out of 10 across the board. Every single person hit their goals and received an ROI, which was really encouraging. And now we're launching this. We did that as like a beta cohort and now we're launching this as the first cohort. And so basically there's a few different ways before I actually get to this. I just want to show you there's like, there's a few different ways of how you're supported from weekly live coaching, private coaching, direct WhatsApp, the founder community, peer accountability, your own kind of personal dashboard. So we built out this really cool like AI driven personal dashboard system that helps you build what we call your, your backable CEO operating system. So this is all designed to have you. To help you build this set of tools and knowledge base for how you operate as a CEO. The way that we do this all is before the actual cohort kicks off, which is a 90 day container. There's a deep onboarding assessment that we send. You have an hour strategy session with mark where you review and really define what success looks like, what these key KPIs are. And then you've got the direct access and mentorship to mark opens up right then and there. And then kind of the meat and potatoes of this is this 12 week container. So it's over the course of three months each week of the 12 weeks. There's one concept, one tool and one shift. And this is anchored with a weekly live session. So it's a 90 minute live session with Mark and these handful of other, other people that we have in this cohort. And each session will combine teaching, discussion, coaching and application. And each week's lesson will come with a suite of practical tools that you will go through or exercise that you will go through and fill out. And these tools that you can use and then actually implement over the course of the week. And then every other week there's bi-weekly coaching that you have set up with mark. So you'll have the check-in calls with mark to review your progress to help apply towards your specific situation and your specific business. And it all compounds on each other. And, you know, market like that's also the baseline too. It's like there's asynchronous support with the WhatsApp throughout with him directly. And also if you need to get on more phone calls to support with anything like he's there to get on phone calls with you. And then at the end there's kind of a final strategy session where you kind of measure the results because that's what everything is geared towards. And then you keep the operating system and you move forward. There are ways to continue working with mark beyond that as well. So supportive from every angle. This is the cool thing. I always love highlighting is that, you know, this is an investment and Mark treats it like one. And so he puts a 5x ROI guarantee on this. So you'll define in the beginning what that actually looks like for you, for yourself revenue generated deals close enterprise value created time reclaimed etc etc. And then you participate in this. And if you don't see that 5x ROI that's very clear, Mark will either keep working with you until you do or refund you entirely. Right. And that decision's up to you. So this is all really meant to be practical implementation. So I know I just threw a lot your way and walked through a few different things. So I'll just pause there and see what questions you have so far. Yes, for sure. So the investment for everything for those three months again that's the dashboard you get. It's the one-on-one stuff. It's the group. It's the whatsapp support back and forth with mark being like one-on-one supporting with you and your business in your life. The full investment for the ticket is 12k across the three months. We break that down obviously with cash flow. We break that down to three monthly payments of 4k. And that includes everything that you need. And so the 5xri on that is 60k. Roi is what we're tracking based on like your hourly based on if it's pilots closed, if it's funds raised, whatever that looks like for you that we track based on that. That's what we're working with. Cool. Love it. Love it. Yeah absolutely and especially because you have that existing relationship with mark. Like he's going to really leverage into make sure that you get every bit. And this is what he's here to do is like especially for this cohort he's like between you eyes like I will do whatever it takes. I'm going to go above and beyond to make sure that everybody gets soaks everything out of this and that's what we're working with. Yeah. Cool. Yeah definitely. Okay I love it so so will he be part of that kind of decision or sign off process for like budgeting for this? Is that what or no? Okay. Gotcha. Okay cool but yeah it still would totally love to I would definitely love to I don't know. Mark likes to hop on a quick call with everybody that we're getting on board as well like you know a 20 minute phone chat just to kind of you know just to get a line on which would be separate than the hour long strategy deep dive and given your relationship heal for sure want to talk to you as well. I don't know if that would make sense then to do the Dr. Chow demo I'd love to set it up candidly between like between us and maybe we can get mark on that call as well. I don't know have that be a barrier from getting you signed up though, you know what I'm saying? So what I'm going to do if you tell me what you thoughts are here but I'll send an email with kind of like the whole onboarding instructions and whatnot loot market on that and marks EA so that you guys can find a time coming up to like chat and then we get your spot locked in. You can wait to talk with Mark if you have any other questions or want to just jam with him and then we'll get your spot locked in. We've got a couple more spots left so I'm not concerned about like I'll tell you I'm not concerned about it like we're us hitting that hard mark where it's like we close it out I'll for sure keep you up to date on that but I'll send that all over and then yeah, I mean I would if you're open to it I would love to see a demo of what you guys are doing just for for our sake and for everything we're working on. Yeah. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. Great yeah for sure let me let me let's in the email that I'll send I'll mention that to Mark and then see what his availability is for joining that and if that's something that he's wanting to join I'm sure it will be but I just want to make sure that he's good from his calendar standpoint and that's something that he's interested in wanting to join on I would say though to do your when you're on the 20 minute call with him like and you explain this to him I think you'll be interested and want to join you know what I'm saying? So I'll send that all over and then we can get that and for sure make sense that we can make that effective and you know respectful of everybody's time on that. Yeah. Not all of them but I would say the majority for sure have consumer brands there's another guy who's in who has a an AI education company like a robotics education company there's another one that we're talking with that is another type of AI agency company so not all consumer brands and part of the reason we like that is as well and like I would love what you bring to the table also because there is such a corollary too from learning from people that are in different industries or different types of leadership it adds to the flavor but and that's also part of the reason why we do mark does one-on-one with everybody too to make sure that's very practical for your business. It is. We prefer it we prefer it that way too because it makes it better. Yeah. I think so. Too. Nothing right now I'll send you an email with all of this info and then we'll get you and mark set up for a 20 minute chat and then just reply to the email that like youe know the offer to do the demo I'll mention in the email as well and then after when you talk with mark on the phone mention it mention it again and then we can get that all scheduled together so I'll wait so you guys and Mark talk and then we can get the demos all scheduled. Yeah. Yes yep. Cool sweet. Dude awesome really stoked this is gonna be great and great to connect and look forward to to getting to know you more too. Cool. Thank you you too take care bye.
